Print & Signage Design Requirements
Please note: Canva can be used for your product design. Our order forms include the ability to share a Canva file link. Should there be any issues with your design, we will let you know.
- Must be a flattened PDF
- All fonts must be outlined.
- Use the CMYK colorspace (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK). RGB (Red, Green, Blue) are used to display colors on your screen and not for print.
- Use vector based when at all possible otherwise use a minimum resolution of 300 dpi for image files.
- Specify trim area with crop marks. (Don't place crop marks inside the work area.)
- Artwork should have 1/8" (0.125") bleed extending past the trim line. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge. The easiest way to accomplish this is the turn on the printer crop and bleed marks in your design software. (i.e. Illustrator, Canva, etc...
- If you want printed borders, they must be placed a minimum of 1/8" (0.125") inside the trim line and include bleed. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge.
