Apparel Design Requirements

Please note: Canva can be used for your apparel product design. We recommend it especially for those who aren't familiar with design requirements. Our order forms include the ability to share a Canva file link. Should there be any issues with your design, we will let you know.

  • 100%, Color Separable, Vector Based .AI (preferred) or EPS files only
  • Outline all Fonts
  • Maximum sizes for are 14.5” wide by 17.5” tall. PLEASE NOTE: if you will need XS, S, or any Youth or Toddler shirts the size max is dependent on the garment and not the machine.
  • When possible, provide mockup of design (like below) on t-shirt model to ensure proper placement.
  • If you will be selecting your own colors, you will use the pantone colors from this site. We are also able to select colors close to those provided in your design file.
  • Create a mock-up like show below so there are no questions about the placement of your design.

If you are unsure how to accomplish a color separable vector, please submit your file anyway--while there are some exceptions, for a small fee, Ridgeline Printing will likely be able to have your file converted to what we need.
